Biography
Arturo Perez Jr. is a director working in film, commercials and music videos. He is married to director Samantha Jayne, with whom he frequently collaborates.
Perez Jr. and Jayne made their feature directorial debut with the 2024 musical Mean Girls, a reinterpretation of the stage show written by Tina Fey. Their earlier work includes directing episodes of the series Quarter Life Poetry (2019–2020), which premiered at Sundance, and music videos such as Justin Timberlake’s “Say Something”. He was one of the early directors for La Blogotheque’s Take Away Shows, creating one-take music videos.
