Biography
Asaad Kelada is an Egyptian-American television director and producer. Born in Cairo on 20 November 1942, he studied drama at the American University in Cairo before emigrating to the United States in 1961. He trained in directing at the Yale School of Drama.
Kelada began his career directing stage plays and teaching drama. His first television credit came in 1976 with an episode of the sitcom Rhoda. He went on to direct numerous episodes of popular series including The Facts of Life, Family Ties, Dharma & Greg, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men and The Office. He directed 117 episodes of Who's the Boss? and served as producer on 51 of them.
