Biography
Ashleigh Banfield is a Canadian-American journalist and television anchor. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she began her broadcasting career in Canada in 1988 at stations including CJBN-TV and CKY-TV, later working as a producer and anchor in Alberta before moving to the United States.
She has appeared as herself or in minor roles in several productions, including as Self in the documentary Fahrenheit 11/9 (2018), Anchor #1 in Breaking Bad (2008), Ashleigh Banfield in In Treatment (2008) and Dalia Hensfield in Don't Look Up (2021). Banfield studied at Queen's University and the University of British Columbia.
