Biography
Ashley Tisdale is an American actress, singer and producer. Born Ashley Michelle Tisdale on 2 July 1985 in West Deal, New Jersey, she began her career as a child performer with roles in more than 100 television advertisements and appearances in theatre and television.
She gained mainstream recognition as Maddie Fitzpatrick in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2008). Tisdale rose to wider prominence playing Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series, beginning with the 2006 television film. She has voiced Candace Flynn in the animated series Phineas and Ferb since 2007. Tisdale has also released studio albums including Headstrong (2007) and Guilty Pleasure (2009).
