Biography
Ashley Gardner is a South African-born American actress. She trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts and began her career in regional and New York theatre, appearing Off-Broadway and on Broadway in a 1980s revival of Hay Fever.
She is known for her voice work on the animated series King of the Hill (1997–2010, revived 2025), providing the voices of Nancy Hicks Gribble and Didi Hill, among others. Gardner has also appeared in guest roles on series including Seinfeld (as Marion, 1991), The Drew Carey Show, Spin City and Malcolm in the Middle, and in films such as Heart of Dixie (1989) and Johnny Suede (1991).
