Biography
Asia Argento is an Italian actress and filmmaker. Born Aria Maria Vittoria Rossa Argento on 20 September 1975 in Rome, she is the daughter of director Dario Argento and actress Daria Nicolodi.
She began acting as a child and appeared in several of her father's films, including Demons 2 (1986) and The Church (1989). Argento won two David di Donatello awards for Best Actress, for Perdiamoci di vista (1994) and Compagna di viaggio (1996). Her international credits include Queen Margot (1994), xXx (2002), Land of the Dead (2005), Last Days (2005) and Marie Antoinette (2006).
Argento has also directed feature films such as Scarlet Diva (2000) and The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things (2004).
