Biography
Asier Gómez Etxeandia, also credited as Asier Etxeandia, is a Spanish actor and singer. Born on 27 June 1975 in Bilbao, he trained at a Biscayan acting school before moving to Madrid at the age of twenty. He began his career in the mid-1990s with early television appearances and theatre work.
Etxeandia is known for his role as Raúl de la Riva in the television series Velvet (2013–2016) and its spin-off Velvet Colección, and for playing Alberto Crespo in Pedro Almodóvar’s Pain and Glory (2019), for which he received a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His film credits also include Shrew's Nest (2014), ma ma (2015) and The Bride (2015). He has won several awards for his theatre performances.
