Biography
Assassin is a French hardcore rap group. The group composed the original music for the 1995 film La Haine, directed by Mathieu Kassovitz. One of its members, Mathias "Rockin' Squat" Crochon, is the brother of actor Vincent Cassel, who starred in the film.
Assassin also composed the music for the 1995 film État des lieux and contributed to later soundtrack work, including tracks featured in Game Over, Man! (2018) and Office Christmas Party (2016). The group was founded in the late 1980s and is known for its underground rap output.
