Biography
August Winter is a Canadian actor, writer and director. They began acting as a child and spent six seasons as a member of the company at the Stratford Festival in Ontario.
Winter is known for the role of Jess Geller in the series Mary Kills People (2017–2019), as well as appearances in Between (2015–2016), Wayne (2019) and Chucky (2021). They played Melvin in the film Women Talking (2022), directed by Sarah Polley. Winter has also written and directed short films and is credited as a singer.
