Biography
Aurorae Khoo is a television writer and producer. She has written for series including NCIS (2003), on which she has also served as co-executive producer, All Rise (2019), Unforgettable (2011), Young & Hungry (2014), Chesapeake Shores (2016), Nurse Jackie, In Plain Sight and Running Wilde.
Khoo began as a playwright, with work produced at venues such as Playwrights Horizons in New York and South Coast Repertory. She holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Brown University and an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University, and held a playwriting residency at Harvard University's Radcliffe Institute. She has taught screenwriting at universities including USC, where she is Professor of Cinematic Arts, Loyola Marymount University and NYU.
She has worked extensively on projects in Asia and sold television and animated projects to studios including Sony, Warner Brothers and Fox.
