Biography
Austin Guzman is a television writer and producer. He began working on Grey's Anatomy (2005) in production staff roles from 2007, advancing to story editor and executive story editor positions before writing 18 episodes between 2010 and 2017. He also wrote for and produced the related web series Seattle Grace: On Call (2009) and Grey's Anatomy: The Webisodes (2009–2010).
Guzman has written episodes of Scandal (2012), Why Women Kill (2019) and The Sandman (2022), for which he also received teleplay credits. He has served as producer or co-executive producer on Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Why Women Kill, The Sandman and IT: Welcome to Derry (2025). He has one award nomination.
