Biography
Ave Ninchi was an Italian actress who appeared in character roles on stage, in over 90 feature films and on television. She was born in Ancona, Italy, and trained at the Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica in Rome.
Her film credits include Purple Noon (1960) as Signora Gianna, Murmur of the Heart (1971) as Augusta, Lacombe, Lucien (1974) as Mme Georges, Les Bonnes Femmes (1960) as Madame Louise and Pulp (1972) as the fat chambermaid. She also appeared in several films with Totò and Aldo Fabrizi. Ninchi's television work peaked in the 1960s and 1970s. She was the mother of actress Marina Ninchi.
