Biography
Avinash Arun, also credited as Avinash Arun Dhaware, is an Indian cinematographer and film director. He graduated in cinematography from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune.
As a cinematographer he has worked on Hindi films including Drishyam (2015), Masaan (2015), Madaari (2016) and Hichki (2018). His first feature as director, the Marathi film Killa (2014), won the Crystal Bear from the children's jury at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi.
He directed the web series Paatal Lok (2020) and the feature film Three of Us (2023).
