Biography
Ayberk Pekcan (22 May 1970 – 24 January 2022) was a Turkish actor. He was born in Mersin and graduated from the Theatre Department at Mersin University Faculty of Fine Arts. After working as a labourer, civil servant and teacher, he moved to Istanbul in 2001 and began his acting career.
Pekcan appeared in films including Mustang (2015) as Erol, Winter Sleep (2014) as Hidayet, Where's Firuze? (2004) and Valley of the Wolves (2003). On television he played Artuk Bey in Resurrection: Ertugrul (2014–2019). He received the best supporting actor award at the Ankara International Film Festival for his performance in Aşk ve Devrim (2011). He died in Mersin from lung cancer.
