Biography
Azam Mahmood is a television writer, producer and actor. He grew up in Karachi, Pakistan, and lives in London. He began his career in finance and technology before turning to stand-up comedy and writing.
Mahmood served as story editor and writer on the 2022 reboot of Queer as Folk. He was a staff writer on season three of Ramy (2022) and wrote an episode of Bait (2026), on which he is also credited as co-producer. He has worked as consulting producer and actor on Industry.
