Biography
Baltasar Breki Samper, also credited as Baltasar Breki Baltasarsson, is an Icelandic actor. He was born on 22 July 1989 in Reykjavík and graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2015. Before completing his studies he worked as a second assistant director on several films directed by his father, Baltasar Kormákur.
He is known for playing Hjörtur Stefánsson in the Icelandic television series Trapped (2015–2019). Other notable roles include Ananenko in the miniseries Chernobyl (2019) and Kjartan in Katla (2021). He is the grandson of the Catalan painter Baltasar Samper.
