Biography
Barbara Carrera is a Nicaraguan-born American retired actress and former model. She began her career as a model with the Eileen Ford agency in New York before moving into acting in the early 1970s.
She is known for her role as the assassin Fatima Blush in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again (1983), for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Other notable credits include The Island of Dr. Moreau (1977), Condorman (1981), Lone Wolf McQuade (1983) and the television series Dallas (1978), in which she played Angelica Nero. Carrera was twice nominated for Golden Globes.
