Biography
Bárbara Enríquez is a production designer, art director and set decorator. Born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1974 and based in Mexico, she has worked on numerous films and television series in Mexico and Latin America.
Her credits include production design on the Netflix series One Hundred Years of Solitude (2024), El Jeremías (2016) and I Dream in Another Language (2017). She served as set decorator on Roma (2018), for which she received an Oscar nomination and a BAFTA nomination, and on Resident Evil: Extinction (2007). She won the Silver Bear for artistic contribution for production design on El Premio (2011).
Enríquez has frequently collaborated with production designer Eugenio Caballero, including on Roma and the Netflix adaptation of One Hundred Years of Solitude.
