Biography
Barbara Randolph (5 May 1942 – 15 July 2002) was an American actress and singer. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she was adopted by actress Lillian Randolph and began her career as a child, appearing as Tanya Hamilton in the 1953 film Bright Road under the name Barbara Ann Sanders.
She is best known for her role as Dorothy in the 1967 film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. Randolph also had an uncredited part as a cigarette girl in Cactus Flower (1969) and appeared in the television series Channing (1963). She recorded for Motown Records in the 1960s and was briefly a member of The Platters.
