Biography
Barbara Stock is an American actress. Born on 26 May 1956 in Downers Grove, Illinois, she began her career with guest roles on series including CHiPs and Dallas, where she appeared as Heather Wilson.
She is best known for playing Susan Silverman, the love interest of the title character, in the ABC series Spenser: For Hire (1985–1988) across two seasons, and as Liz Adams in the final season of Dallas (1990–1991). Her other credits include guest appearances in Knight Rider, The A-Team, Moonlighting, Murder, She Wrote, MacGyver, The Twilight Zone, Touched by an Angel and Charmed.
Stock played the Scam Woman in the Seinfeld episode 'The Subway' (1992). She also had a recurring role in the daytime soap Port Charles (1997–1998) and appeared in the television film The Princess & the Marine (2001). She left acting that year to run an interior design business.
