Biography
Barry Greenhouse is an insurance official who appeared as himself in the 2008 documentary Man on Wire, directed by James Marsh.
While working as assistant director of research for the New York State Insurance Department on the 82nd floor of the south tower of the World Trade Center, Greenhouse assisted Philippe Petit with access and other support for his 1974 high-wire walk between the Twin Towers. He had previously seen Petit perform in Paris.
