Biography
Barry Howard (born Barry Frederick Howard) was an English actor. He appeared as Barry Stuart-Hargreaves in the first seven series of the BBC sitcom Hi-de-Hi! (1980–1986).
Howard was born in Nottingham and trained at the Birmingham Theatre School after national service. He had earlier television roles including an appearance in Terry and June (1979). Later credits included You Rang, M'Lord? (1990), The House of Windsor (1994), Dad (1997), and a guest role in Doctor Who (2009). He died in Poole, Dorset, in 2016.
