Biography
Barry Jackson was an English stage, film and television actor. Born in Birmingham, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began his career in repertory theatre after working as a stage hand at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
He appeared in the first fourteen series of Midsomer Murders (1997–2011) as pathologist Dr. George Bullard. His other screen credits include Ryan's Daughter (1970), Barry Lyndon (1975), Doctor Who (as Drax), Wimbledon (2004) and numerous British television series such as Coronation Street, Silent Witness and Casualty.
Jackson died in London on 5 December 2013.
