Biography
Barry Oringer was an American screenwriter and producer. He was born on 3 December 1935 in New York and died on 10 January 2021 in Novato, California.
Oringer studied at Brooklyn College, where he earned a BA in drama and English. He began his career writing the English script for the 1962 film Damon and Pythias and went on to write episodes for numerous television series, including The Fugitive, The Invaders, Mannix, Ben Casey, Barnaby Jones and The F.B.I.. He co-wrote the pilot episode of the series Hotel with John Furia Jr. and contributed to several made-for-television films.
