Biography
Barry Safchik is an American television writer and producer. Born on 3 January 1964, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has worked in television for more than thirty years.
His writing credits include episodes of Weeds (2005), Boy Meets World (1993), Grace and Frankie (2015), My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (2010) and 10 Things I Hate About You (2009). He has also served as a producer or executive producer on series including Weeds, Sullivan & Son (2012), Side Order of Life (2007) and Grace and Frankie.
Safchik has taught as a guest professor at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts and Boston University's College of Communication.
