Biography
Bastian Trost is a German actor. He was born on 29 March 1974 in Düsseldorf and trained at the Westfälische Schauspielschule in Bochum. He made his screen debut in 1994 in the historical drama Maries Lied and has appeared in numerous films and television productions since.
Trost is a member of the performance collective Gob Squad. His film roles include a lead part as Johannes in Schläfer (2005), screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, Häftling 227 in The Lives of Others (2006), a lieutenant in Aimée & Jaguar (1999), and Franz Michaelis in Never Look Away (2018). He has also appeared in episodes of the long-running series Tatort.
