Biography
Bekka Bowling is a British stand-up comedian, actor and writer. She was runner-up at the Funny Women awards in 2011 and has appeared in BBC series including Limbo (2016), Lovesick (2016–2018), Sick of It (2018) and Masters of Love (2019). She trained in ballet at Elmhurst Ballet School and in musical theatre.
In 2020 Bowling stepped back from acting to concentrate on screenwriting. Her writing credits include an episode of Solos (2021) and co-writing the Black Mirror episode "USS Callister: Into Infinity" (2025) with William Bridges, Ella Road and Bisha K. Ali. She has also received commissions including an adaptation of Beth O'Leary's novel The Switch for Amblin Partners.
