Biography
Ben Coccio is an American filmmaker and screenwriter. Born on 2 August 1975 in Niskayuna, New York, he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1997 with a BFA in film, animation and video.
Coccio directed and wrote the 2003 feature Zero Day. He co-wrote the story and screenplay for the 2013 film The Place Beyond the Pines with Derek Cianfrance and Darius Marder. He also directed the 2010 film The Beginner.
