Biography
Ben Frost is an Australian-Icelandic composer, musician and sound designer. Born in Melbourne in 1980, he has been based in Reykjavík, Iceland, since 2005.
He composed the score for all three seasons of the Netflix series Dark (2017–2020). His other television and film credits include Raised by Wolves (2020), 1899 (2022), Fortitude (2015–2018), Super Dark Times (2017) and Sleeping Beauty (2011).
Frost has collaborated repeatedly with directors Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. He has also worked with orchestras including Sinfonietta Cracovia and contributed to albums by artists such as Tim Hecker and Swans.
