Biography
Ben Hiura (樋浦 勉, born Tsutomu Hiura) is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on 25 January 1943 in Tokyo.
He has appeared in numerous films and television series since the 1960s, including the role of Yakimatsu in The Ballad of Narayama (1983), Tavern Gramps in Zatoichi (2003), and Ichizo in Ryuzo and the Seven Henchmen (2015). He is affiliated with the Seinenza Theater Company.
As a voice actor, Hiura has provided the Japanese dub for Robin Williams and other actors such as Bruce Willis in various films and series.
