Biography
Benjamin Walker is an American actor. Born Benjamin Walker Davis on 21 June 1982 in Cartersville, Georgia, he trained at the Juilliard School in New York after attending Cartersville High School and the Interlochen Arts Academy.
He began his career in theatre, appearing in Broadway productions including the 2007 revival of Inherit the Wind and the 2010 musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, in which he played the title role. His screen credits include the young Alfred Kinsey in Kinsey (2004), Harlon Block in Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and the title role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012). On television he has played Erik Gelden in Marvel's Jessica Jones (2019) and High King Gil-galad in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022–). He portrayed Terrance Randall in the 2021 series The Underground Railroad.
