Biography
Bernardo Bonezzi was a Spanish film composer and musician. Born in Madrid, he began his career in the early 1980s as the leader of the band Los Zombies, known for the hit song 'Groenlandia'.
He became a frequent collaborator with director Pedro Almodóvar, composing the scores for Labyrinth of Passion (1982), What Have I Done to Deserve This? (1984), Matador (1986) and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988). He later worked on films including Nobody Will Speak of Us When We're Dead (1995), for which he won a Goya Award, and Don't Tempt Me (2001).
Bonezzi died in Madrid in 2012.
