Biography
Bernt Amadeus Capra is a production designer and director. Born on 11 April 1941 in Vienna, Austria, he has worked extensively in film and television, often credited as Bernt Capra or Amadeus Capra.
His production design credits include the television series Carnivàle (2003), for which he shared a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series, What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Peaceful Warrior (2006) and This Is It (2009). He directed Mindwalk (1990) and contributed to the art department on This Is Spinal Tap (1984). He is the brother of Fritjof Capra.
