Biography
Bess Motta is an American actress, singer and choreographer. She is known for her role as Ginger Ventura, Sarah Connor’s roommate, in James Cameron’s The Terminator (1984), in which she performed her own stunts. She was also the lead instructor and choreographer for the Canadian television exercise series :20 Minute Workout (1983–1984), which ran in international syndication for many years.
Born in Burbank, California, on 10 February 1958 and raised in Woodland Hills, Motta trained as a competitive ice skater and studied drama from the age of thirteen. She appeared in Los Angeles theatre productions and later took roles in series including New Monkees (1987) and The Home Show. She has continued working as a voice-over artist.
