Biography
Betsy Palmer, born Patricia Betsy Hrunek, was an American actress. She played Lieutenant Ann Girard in the 1955 film Mister Roberts.
Palmer was a regular panelist on the CBS game show I've Got a Secret from 1958 until its original run ended in 1967. She is also known for portraying Pamela Voorhees in Friday the 13th (1980) and its 1981 sequel.
Born on 1 November 1926 in East Chicago, Indiana, she appeared in numerous films and television guest roles, including Columbo and Murder, She Wrote, before her death on 29 May 2015.
