Biography
Betsy Thomas is an American television writer, producer and director. She began her career as a writer and story editor on the series My So-Called Life in 1994. She later wrote and directed the short film Pam Flam & the Center of the Universe (1998).
Thomas created and executive-produced the sitcoms Run of the House (2003–2004) and My Boys (2006–2010). She has directed episodes of series including Superstore (2016–2021), Mom (2013–2020), The Carmichael Show (2015), Men at Work (2012), Night Court (2023) and Home Economics (2021). She has also served as executive producer on Whitney (2011–2012) and other programmes.
Thomas was raised in Franklin, Michigan, and attended Detroit Country Day School. She is married to writer and actor Adrian Wenner.
