Biography
Bettine von Borries is a German screenwriter. Born in Munich in 1971, she studied German, philosophy and history in Munich and Berlin before working as an editor and press officer at book publishers from 1996 to 2003.
She has written screenplays for several films and television productions, often in collaboration with her brother, director Achim von Borries. Her credits include the animated feature Die drei Räuber (2007, also known as Trick or Treaters), Mullewapp – Das große Kinoabenteuer der Freunde (2009) and episodes of the series Babylon Berlin (from 2017). She lives in Berlin and southern France.
