Biography
Béatrice 'Betty' Bonifassi is a French-born vocalist and actress based in Montreal, Canada. She is credited as providing the singing voices for the title characters in the 2003 animated film The Triplets of Belleville (also known as Les Triplettes de Belleville), in which she is also listed as performing the 'Piaf Song'.
Bonifassi was born around 1971 in Nice, France. She collaborated with composer Benoît Charest on the film's soundtrack, including the Oscar-nominated song 'Belleville Rendez-vous', which the pair performed at the 76th Academy Awards ceremony in 2004. She has additional soundtrack credits, including on the 2013 film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
