Biography
Bill Jesse (1942–1990) was a British screenwriter. A former construction worker, he wrote the screenplay for the 1991 film Riff-Raff, directed by Ken Loach, drawing on his own experiences on London building sites.
The film marked his only known produced screenplay. Jesse died in Lambeth, London, in October 1990, before the film's completion.
