Biography
Bill Kalmenson is an American actor, director and writer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he studied acting in New York with Stella Adler and Jack Garfein and appeared in numerous stage productions, including opposite Milton Berle in Goodnight, Grandpa. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and attended New York University Graduate Film School.
Kalmenson's screen credits include the role of a beat cop in Lethal Weapon (1987). He later played Hal Saunders in Argo (2012) and wrote, directed and appeared in The Souler Opposite (1998). His television work encompasses guest roles in series such as ER (as Ken), 24, Married... with Children, Shameless (as Judge Vanwyngarden) and Marvel's Agent Carter (as Senator Webster). His grandfather, Benjamin Kalmenson, served as president of Warner Bros. in the 1960s.
