Biography
Bille Eltringham is a British film and television director. She is a graduate of Bournemouth Film School and previously worked as a boatswain on square-rigged tall ships and as a theatrical dresser and prop builder.
Her feature films include the co-directed The Darkest Light (1999) and This Is Not a Love Song (2002), the first film to be streamed simultaneously on the internet with its cinema release. Television credits include directing episodes of The Long Firm (2004), The L Word (2006), Ashes to Ashes (2008), Lewis (2009–2010), United States of Tara (2011) and Grace (2021–2024).
