Biography
Billy Hartman is a Scottish actor born in Edinburgh in 1957. He played Dugal MacLeod in the 1986 film Highlander and appeared as Frank in Slaughter High the same year.
Hartman is best known for portraying Terry Woods in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 1995 to 2011. He has taken guest roles in series including Inspector Morse, A Touch of Frost and Casualty. With Emmerdale co-stars, he was a member of the country rock trio The Woolpackers, who had a UK hit single in 1996. His stage work includes the original West End production of The Hired Man and the 2015 London revival of Gypsy.
