Biography
Billy Reynolds-McCarthy is a New Zealand actor of Māori descent, based in Auckland. He is known for his role as Jake in the 2023 horror film Evil Dead Rise.
His other credits include the role of Wade Stack in the soap opera Shortland Street (2020) and Kyle Harris in The Brokenwood Mysteries (2024). He has also appeared in Tangata Pai (2025) and is set to feature in Feelings Club (2026). Reynolds-McCarthy trained with the Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ Young Shakespeare Company at The Globe in London in 2024.
