Biography
Blake McCormick is an American television writer and producer, also credited as John Blake McCormick. He began his career with assistant roles on series including The X-Files and Futurama before contributing as a writer and story editor on the animated sitcom King of the Hill (1997) from 2007 to 2009.
McCormick later served as executive producer and showrunner on the comedy series Cougar Town (2009). He wrote for and developed the action-comedy series Rush Hour (2016), on which he also acted as co-showrunner. His other writing credits include episodes of Ghosted (2017) and Single Parents (2018). In 2012, his screenplay Untitled Cops Comedy was sold to Universal Pictures and appeared on The Black List.
