Biography
Blanca Araceli is a Mexican-American actress, choreographer, director, producer and dancer. She trained and worked extensively in theatre, with over 120 stage productions including more than 70 leading roles.
She is known for voicing the Emcee in the Pixar film Coco (2017) and for television roles including Pilar and a widow in American Horror Story (2011 and 2021), Xiomara in S.W.A.T. (2017 and 2019), Sofia in Station 19 (2018), and Jesús's mother in The Lincoln Lawyer (2022). Film credits include Rosa in Good Fortune (2025) and a volunteer in Kajillionaire (2020). She appears as Ines in the series R.J. Decker (2026).
Araceli founded the Tierra Blanca Arts Center in 2002 and has received awards including the Golden Eagle Award in 2019 and the Azteca Inka Gold Award in 2023 for her work promoting Mexican and global culture.
