Biography
Bob Bendetson is an American television writer and producer. He began his career writing for series including The Jeffersons (1981), Alice (1984), The Facts of Life (1979) and ALF (1986–1987).
He later served as supervising producer and writer on Newhart (1988–1990), where he contributed to the series finale 'The Last Newhart', and as supervising producer on Coach (1989–1992). Bendetson was executive producer and writer on Home Improvement (1991–1999). In 2001–2002 he wrote two episodes of The Simpsons and produced 13 episodes of the series.
Bendetson received Emmy and Writers Guild of America Award nominations for his work on Home Improvement and The Simpsons. He also wrote and directed the unreleased animated film Big Bug Man.
