Biography
Bob Schiller was an American screenwriter. Born in San Francisco, California, on 8 November 1918, he began writing for television in 1950 after earlier work in radio. From 1953 he collaborated extensively with fellow writer Bob Weiskopf on numerous series.
Their credits include episodes of I Love Lucy (1955–1957), The Lucy Show and Maude. Schiller and Weiskopf also wrote for All in the Family (1977–1979), for which Schiller shared an Emmy Award in 1978 for the episode "Cousin Liz". He died in Pacific Palisades, California, on 10 October 2017.
