Biography
Bob Weiskopf (13 March 1914 – 20 February 2001) was an American television writer and producer. Born in Chicago, he began his career writing for radio programmes before moving into television in the 1950s.
He formed a long-term writing partnership with Bob Schiller. Together they contributed to I Love Lucy from its fifth season, The Lucy Show, Maude and All in the Family, for which Weiskopf received an Emmy Award in 1978 for the episode "Cousin Liz". Their other credits include The Flip Wilson Show, The Carol Burnett Show and Archie Bunker's Place.
The pair earned two Emmy Awards, Writers Guild of America awards and the Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television Achievement in 1988.
