Biography
Bobby Wilson, also credited as Bobby D. Wilson or Bobby 'Dues' Wilson, is a Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota writer, producer, actor, poet and visual artist. He grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and began his creative work as a teenager with graffiti and spoken-word poetry. He is a founding member of the Indigenous sketch comedy group The 1491s.
Wilson has written for the FX series Reservation Dogs (2021–2023), on which he also served as co-producer and appeared as the character Jumbo. He has written episodes of Rutherford Falls (2021) and Echo (2023–2024), and contributed to other television projects including Spirit Rangers.
