Biography
Boluwatife Treasure Bankole is an actor. She was born on 21 November 2015 at Abou Jaoude Hospital in Jall Ed Dib, Lebanon, to Nigerian father Oluyemi Damilola Bankole and Kenyan mother Rosemary Karanjo.
Bankole played the infant Yonas in Nadine Labaki’s 2018 film Capernaum. She was discovered by the film’s casting director in 2016 while living in Beirut. The production assisted the family during their deportation from Lebanon in March 2018; Bankole and her mother returned to Kenya.
